A crane is placing cement piping into place during the construction of the Cooper Creek sewer outfall line behind Millpond Drive. Tex-Con Utility Contractors of Garland was in charge of the operation. The line ran within the city limits and was two miles long, following Cooper Creek. Construction began in 1965 and the new sewer line was in operation by January 1967.
