[Cooke County Courthouse in Gainesville, TX]

Photograph of Cooke County Courthouse in Gainesville, TX. The courthouse is mostly rectangular in shape with a section of the building projecting outwards from the rest, on the side facing the camera. The building is made of white stone and pale orange bricks, with the bottom two floors built entirely from stone bricks while the upper two floors consist of bricks accented and decorated with stone. Each of the four floors of the courthouse have a row of windows across their widths. On the left side of the building, which faces the left edge of the photo, two white columns rise across the top two floors of the building to support a rectangular pediment that projects outwards slightly from the rest of the wall. The top of the courthouse is flat with a short brick wall lining the roof's edge, beyond which a clocktower sits, centered on the building's roof. The clocktower has white walls with shuttered windows, above which are the clockfaces of the tower, topped by a light blue dome. Outside of the courthouse building, near its left corner, are a tall stone slab with a motif on it, a street sign saying "Commerce St", a faded mailbox, …

Photograph of Leon County Courthouse in Centerville, TX. A road spans the bottom third of the photo, with a car driving through the image's bottom right corner. Between the road and the lawn of the courthouse is a parking lot occupied by numerous cars. Within the courthouse's lawn are multiple trees, telephone poles near the photo's left and right edges, and a person near the center of the image who seems to be walking alongside the parking lot. The courthouse itself is an orange brick building with two floors, multiple chimneys, and an upward sloping roof. The building has one rows of windows on each of its floors, all set into white frames. The building's entrance is flanked by pairs of white columns that support a white rectangular overhang. The courthouse sits near the left edge of the photo while a smaller red building occupies the space the courthouse's right. This red building has two floors adorned with windows, a white front door, and turreted towers at each corner.

Photograph of Cpl Polo Castillo (1st Motor Transport Battalion, 1st Marine Division) in a Jeep en route in a convoy to Da Nang, Vietnam. Castillo was stationed at Gia Le Combat Base.
