Wallace raised about $15,000 gross for the American Party presidential canidadate's campaign. But almost as much was netted at an unpublicized, $1,000-a-plate luncheon. Reuell Little, a Madill lawyer and state chairman, acknowledged the high tab. ten persons attended. After "passing the bucket" at the Fairgrounds Arena rally following the dinner, Little figured the day's tally came to $75,000."
