Evening ensemble of white silk brocade with hat. a) Sleeveless dress of white silk brocade. Rounded neckline forms deep V in back to waistline. Inner skirt of white silk brocade attached to main dress with zipper closure in back and snaps and hook & eyes. Back tie of black satin ribbon at waistline. Fully lined in cream colored silk. Designer's label at inside front neckline: "Balenciaga / 10, Avenue George V. Paris" Maker's tags on back of designer's label: "95644" Above designer's label: "Made in France" Handwritten tape at back waistline: "modile 147 Wool 43% 58% acetate lining Silk 100% Wool o.K 360 net 1.k000" b) Pillbox hat of white silk brocade. Lined in gold organza. Two clear plastic three-prong combs at left and right. Retailer's label: "Neiman-Marcus / Made to Order" c) Interchangeable underskirt of cream colored silk. Bottom 1/3 hem is ivory silk satin attached to skirt. Left side zipper with hook & eye on 1/2" waistband. Unlined. d) Interchangeable underskirt. Upper 2/3 is cream colored silk crepe. The School Stage as a Laboratory for Teaching Certain Aspects of Color Theory
It is the purpose of this study to present three units for the instruction of certain aspects of color by using the techniques of audio-visual education which utilize the school stage as a laboratory. The study demonstrates how a stage and its apparatus become an audio-visual tool that the teacher may not hope to duplicate in the classroom.
