"Homage to Picasso" shoe

"Homage to Picasso" commemorative shoe designed by André Perugia under the Charles Jourdan label. Shoe heel and bed of heel is made up of two angular pieces that are light and dark gray leather. Heel lining of black suede. Leather ankle strap closes with a screw having a metal triangle tip. Toe has plastic foot appliqué with red leather strap going over toes. Metal shank stamped "Charles Jourdan" connects heel and toe sections. On bottom of shoe: "Chaussure A. Suede boots

Boots of black suede. Over-calf-height, square-toed. Lace up front with three rows of eyelets at bottom and 15 hooks above. Block heel is covered in black suede. Lined in off-white kid leather and with a rubber and leather sole. Straw hat

Hat of dull yellow-green woven straw. The hat is constructed of concentric bands of woven straw mounted on a shaped, stiffed nylon net. The crown is conical in shape, flattened at top, and flaring at the base to merge into the floppy brim. Mounted at front of hat are two large artificial pink silk flowers. Unlined; double-layer green grosgrain ribbon headband is designed so that the hat "rests" on the head. Hatpin with small, white round head and bobby pin. Ruffled dress

Dress of silver grey quiana knit. A) Dress, full-length with scoop neck with collar having an 8" ruffle edged with lace. The long sleeves are embellished with pin-tucks, bands of satin, lace and velvet ribbon, and with a 5" ruffle at cuff also edged with lace. Bodice has vertical pin-tucks, and skirt has horizontal bands of satin, ribbon, and lace. Deep ruffle at hem, edged with lace. Center front opening with 6 self-covered circular domed buttons, and with hidden snap at neck. Unlined. Designer's label inside at back below neckline: "Giorgio di Sant'Angelo" B) Belt of same fabric embellished with lengthwise bands of velvet and lace.
