Photograph used for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "View from the top of new state fairgrounds arena is provided in this photo by Times photographer Austin Traverse. He went to the top of the 70-foot structure to photograph workmen casting a section of the upper ring beam, right center. Construction superintendent on the job estimated the work on the arena is about 35 percent complete. Roof panels - about 1,000 of them - and 126 side panels are being cast at a local concrete firm. When the ring beam is complete, cables will be stretched across the top to form a grid on which the roof panels wil be placed."
