Caption: "The Parade ground was empty under the cloudy, but sometimes sunny sky, as the military band broke into the "Cassion Song" made famous by the artillery and later stolen as the whole army's own. Smatterings of applause came from guests on the reviewing stand, but the man in front of that stand was thinking of his own "dusty trail" that the music tells of. It was a "dusty trail" that began in 1904 in East Hampton, N. Y., and moved in 1922 to West Point.
