The document states that delegates at the convention voted to establish a scholarship fund in Gus C. Garcia's name. Oscar Laurel, Dr. Hector P. Garcia, Raul Cortez, Dr. George I. Sanchez, and John J. Herrera are listed as trustees of the fund. The resolution is typed on the back of Associated Federal Hotels stationery.

Johnson; Julius Schmidt and Jerry Bird have been arrested and during the raid a truck-load of German helmets, pictures, flags, and a variety of guns and ammo were confiscated, while an unidentified mental patient who claimed to be planning the assassination is still missing. In a related story, Fort Worth is making elaborate plans for presidential security when he visits on Monday, with over 400 men involved.
