Caption: "Twenty-nine persons were injured Friday afternoon when a school bus carrying up to 34 home-bound school students collided with a station wagon carrying two persons at SW 44 and MacArthur. One of the car occupants was critically injured and the other suffered serious injuries. Most of the children received minor injuries and were treated and released from three city hospitals. Six ambulances were needed to take the injured from SW 44 and MacArthur to Mercy, St. Anthony and Baptist Memorial Hospitals. A faulty brake cylinder on the bus was blamed for the accident."
