The property owners were fined 200-dollars each and Donovan was ordered to serve 20 days in the county jail. The US Supreme Court ruled that state courts may not punish a litigant for going into federal court with a suit already decided in state court, which allows him for another try to stop the construction of a new runway at Love Field airport.
