The Texas State Historical Association Quarterly Report includes "Papers read at the meetings of the Association, and such other contributions as may be accepted by the Committee" (volume 1, number 1). Press release from the Democratic National Committee regarding the number of federal employees who speak Spanish. The release states that under Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson, the federal government has already greatly increased the number of Spanish-speaking employees.

The reverse of the paper has a handwritten note that translate to, "Lady I am in search of a home and you along with my kids are going to come with me, whether you want to or not and I could care less who opposes. The letter is typed on Carles-Peralta's own letterhead for the Panamanian Corporations, Laws and Maritime Documentation.
