Wildlife have a place in today's agriculture and are planned for in conservation planning of land use and treatment. Photographic follow-up of OK-1105-7. Fullingim Flat in Mt. Pinchot Pasture. This area is principally hardland range site. Vegetation during the 1940's and early 1950's was dominated by short grasses. Buffalo is concentrated in this locality. Management adjustments, including changes in salt location and mesquite control, have resulted in range improvements shown on return of miscellaneous grasses and moderate use. Note scattered stand of vigorous little bluestem plants. Taken during annual Soil Conservation Service cooperative grazing use check. OK-1583-9.

The back of the photograph proclaims, "Fence seen hanging in center of picture was on solid ground beside a section line road approximately two years ago. Erosion has eaten back this distance. Trees have been planted for critical area, and Gully plugs are under construction."
