A letter written to Mr. and Mrs. Carswell [T. N. Carswell and Byrdie Carswell] from Mrs. Julie McLeod, Memphis, Tennessee, dated December 31, 1969. McLeod expresses her appreciation for the lovely letter and her hope that Mrs. Carswell is better. She requests that Carswell please find any small memento that they both have had since the time she has known him and to mail it to her. She discusses her desire to move back to Texas advising that she has applied for a transfer after having worked for the Treasury Department for thirty years, that she still misses Orville and that Mark is at home off-and-on.
