The trees occupying the lawn have trunks seemingly painted white for a few feet of the trees' heights. The courthouse itself has a flat roof and is made of dark red bricks and is accented with white stone, sitting on the lawn with its longest side facing towards the left edge of the photo. An entrance in the form of a tall white arch is positioned in the center of the longer side of the building and has four columns rising across all three of the building's floor to support a rectangular pediment projecting out from the wall a short distance. The building has on both of its visible sides, a row of small windows along its bottom edge and three rows of taller windows across the remainder of the structure's width.
