[Speech: Address of the President]

Speech given by Dr. May Owen, President of the Texas Medical Association, to the TMA House of Delegates in Galveston, thanking them and others for their service during her year as president. She also offers three recommendations for the TMA's improvement, in the areas of encouragement to medical and non-medical students to pursue medical professions, and care for aged patients. A few handwritten notes and corrections are written in the margins of the text.
