[Looking Back at Sanger's History]

Page from a scrapbook with two photos that appeared in the Sanger Courier's "Looking Back" issue. The first photo is of the owners of Collins-Andrews Dry Good Store which was reported to be the first dry goods store in Sanger. The second photo is of one of the early Post Masters of Sanger, H. D. Green, along with his family and other postal workers in front of a post office in early Sanger, Texas. Mr. Green was appointed Post Master in 1899 and reappointed at different times until 1925. At the bottom right middle is a photograph of Jesse P. Smith on his horse Snooper. The photograph in the right-hand corner is of Dottie Mae McBride, Otis McBride, Alene Duncan, and Reba Duncan on a horse.
