[Paul L. Jensen in Uniform]

Photograph of Paul L. Jensen, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Axel Jensen. He joined the Air Force on October 15, 1965 and received basic military training at Lockland AFB, Texas. He attended Basic Military Journalist School at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis. He was assigned to Pacific Air Forces Base Information Office at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa. He served at Kadena from March 1966 to December 1967 with assignments taking him to Japan, Vietnam, Guam, and Hawaii. From Kadena, he was transferred to the Department of the Air Force's Hometown News Center at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. He served in several supervisory positions at Hometown News Center before being honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant in February 1969.
