Fire Damage

Photograph of concerns for fire prevention and the results of one burning on rangeland during hot dry days of August 1963. The area on the right was burned accidentally from the adjacent road. The line where the fire was put out can easily be seen. Burned area was approximately 90% weeds while the unburned area was approximately 90% grasses. OK-2103.
