Coat of zebra hide. Street-length, with long sleeves. Two outer pockets with decorative flaps. Center front opening with three large circular leather-covered buttons. Rounded lapel collar. Edges, buttonholes, pockets, etc. trimmed with black/brown leather. Upper part of garment lined in green silk with interior tie and loop closure; lower part lined in black. Inner slit pocket on right side seam of lining with embroidered label "Maxine Blau". Inner green silk belt with loop. Designer's label at inside back neckline: "Esther Dorothy / Furs for the Woman by a Woman / New York Boston"

Ruffled dress

Dress of silver grey quiana knit. A) Dress, full-length with scoop neck with collar having an 8" ruffle edged with lace. The long sleeves are embellished with pin-tucks, bands of satin, lace and velvet ribbon, and with a 5" ruffle at cuff also edged with lace. Bodice has vertical pin-tucks, and skirt has horizontal bands of satin, ribbon, and lace. Deep ruffle at hem, edged with lace. Center front opening with 6 self-covered circular domed buttons, and with hidden snap at neck. Unlined. Designer's label inside at back below neckline: "Giorgio di Sant'Angelo" B) Belt of same fabric embellished with lengthwise bands of velvet and lace. Belt has single snap closure set to fasten leaving long, trailing ends.
