Lined in olive green synthetic fiber fabric. Inner zipper for lining, now missing. With matching belt with brown, rectangular buckle. Brand (?) label inside: "Dimension IV"

Cocktail dress of blue, aqua and white rayon/nylon blend brocade with gold metallic lurex threads in stylized chrysanthemum flower and semi-circle or rainbow motif. Knee-length. Center front zipper is hidden by ivory satin placket with 5 self-covered buttons. Double collar of brocade under and ivory satin upper. Short sleeves. Two patch pockets with flaps and ivory satin covered button on front at sides. Princess seams. Inverted pleat in back starts at waistline; half belt band on back waistline is finished inside princess seams. Lined in blue rayon jacquard with "Mori Hanae" imprint. Designer's label at center of upper back: "(Japanese characters) / Hanae Mori" Size "12" tag attached to center of base of designer label. Lounge ensemble in pink silks. The pantsuit consists of a blouse and pants. The blouse is of pink silk, constructed as two layers. The inner lining layer is of plain pink gauze. The outer layer is of pink silk heavily decorated with patterns created by shibori technique dying. The blouse has long sleeves and a center-front zipper closure that runs almost the entire length of the garment and has a single hook-and-eye at throat. The collar, cuffs, hem, and flap over the zipper are a small ruffle of the same materials. The shibori patterns use green, yellow, blue, and the original white of the fabric to create bands of tiny "puckers", large circular forms, and abstract shapes. The pants are of pink silk taffeta, about ankle length, with elastic cuffs. Plain waistband, with zipper closure at center front and single hook-and-eye at waistband. Described in early records as harem pants, but lacking the fullness associated with that style. Both garments have the same series of labels. Chanel-style three-piece suit of pink/lavender wool yarn with cream, yellow and green highlights in exaggerated weave pattern.

Two-piece suit of bright green, beige, and red plaid wool. a) Jacket: Unfitted, bias cut in one piece; slight V-neckline with convertible collar. 3/4 length sleeves cut in one with jacket body have an under sleeve and a triangular shaped gusset under the arm. Lapped center front opening has three hidden snap closures. Corded belt loops are sewn into each side seam at waist. Fully lined in beige silk. Designer's label: Balenciaga / 10, Avenue George V. Paris b) Matching knee length bias cut skirt with narrow rolled waistband. Four pleats at front waist. Left side zipper closure supplemented by one hook&eye closure on waistband. Folded hem. Fully lined in beige silk. c) Contoured belt of beige leather. Measures 1-1/8" x 35". Functioning covered buckle with three corresponding holes. Backed with tan leather.

Platform heel in red and white floral print on black ground. Shoes designed as open-toed pumps set on high platform at front, with wide band across vamp, open sides, and sling back which springs from a wide "Y" shaped strap. High, chunky heels taper slightly to base. Shoes covered with all-over print of large stylized flowers of red and white on a black ground. Shoes of red leather with large rectangular accent panel of white textured leather on vamp which curls up from toe and lays over vamp.

Pumps of pearlized blue patent leather. Designed with pointed toes, and gently rounded vamp. High 3 ½” spike heel also covered with pearlized blue patent leather. Stamped in right shoe: “QualiCraft” and "Hand Lasted" Handwritten inside: “7AAAA 94878 2 / AAAAA 3200537X / Heel”

Hat of open-work crocheted olive green straw. The high, somewhat conical crown is encircled at base by a band of green velvet ribbon. Sloping brim of same openwork crochet. Scattered over crown and trailing onto brim in places are applied artificial sprays of small white flowers with green leaves. Unlined. Inner green grosgrain ribbon hatband. Toque hat covered in appliqued velvet leaves. The cloche-style hat has a domed crown completely covered with vari-colored velvet leaves/blossoms in shades of pink, red, green, gold, fuchsia, brown, purple, etc. At base of crown is tied a fuchsia velvet ribbon with bow with ribbons trailing at right. Slight brim below ribbon, which extends downwards. The hat is lined in pink/fuchsia lace, and has an inner purple/mauve grosgrain ribbon hatband inside base of crown. Sewn into inner ribbon hatband is retailer's label: "Stern and Mann / Millinery. Received with a period white-painted wooden hat-stand.

Hat of black velvet. Toque style crown of black lace covered with flat strips of black velvet ribbon on sides. Edge of brim covered in black velvet. Unlined. Retailer's label on inside crown: " Sakowitz / Houston"
