Photograph of follow-up of Ok-1266-10 and Ok 1261-2, 3, 5, & 6. Pipe in place and road completed across spillway. Entire road across dam and spillway was graveled. Excellent cooperation between County Commissioner, Grady County District, and SCS. Looking East. Also School bus route.

Photograph of dam of farm pond with little bluestem, switch grass, Indian grass, side oats grama, land love grass plants. Cotton hulls were spread over dam at time of seeding in the winter of 1958-59. This unit is in the GPCP.

Fire Damage to Native Grass
Photograph of a pasture of native grass in excellent condition. Approximately 200 acres of grass and timber was destroyed before this fire was brought under control. Stephens County Civil Defense fire fighting units assisted in extinguishing the fire. Fire started by a careless farmer who was burning a fire break 1/4 mile south of this field.
