Letter from W. B. Hudson to Thomas F. Fisher, discussing a certificate of honorary recognition that Mr. Hudson had planned to give him at a retirement party. He writes that he has enclosed the certificate with his letter.

Letter from Miss Frankie Waits to Miss Glenda Sartain, discussing Miss Sartain's request for clippings about her school, L. V. Stockard Middle School, from the Daily Times Herald's records. She suggests Miss Sartain come to the Times Herald Building to look through the clippings personally, and asks her to call ahead. The letter is folded inside an official Daily Times Herald envelope, that has been torn open along the top edge.

She asks Dr. Owen to check a write-up she is sending to the publication.
