Wildhorse Watershed

Photograph of site 33, Wildhorse Watershed. C. J. Beavers, owner of this site, has sold $20,000 of water to oil companies for drilling purposes in last 2 1/2 years. He also watered neighbors' cattle from this site during drought years of '52, '53, and '54. This site was completed in 1950. Oil wells that were to be drilled in sediment pool were spaced on the edge of water and whipstocked under the pool.
