Dam on Detention Reservoir Site No. 15

Photograph of one end of dam on Detention Reservoir - Site No. 15. (old site No. 1, Tishomingo area). This dam makes a huge dogleg turn and cannot be photographed to show the whole dam except from the air. The dam rises 25 feet about the level of the water in the permanent pool.

Photograph of view of partially completed dam on Detention Reservoir Site No. 12. This reservoir will work in conjunction with the reservoir on Site No. 11. Site No. 11 could be seen in this photograph were it not for the trees at the left and distant right background. A diversion terrace will pass to the right in the immidate foreground and will empty into this reservoir. Drainage area of this reservoir is 410 acres with 27 acre feet in the permanent pool and 167 acre feet in the flood pool. Dam will be 23 feet high. Release rate - 6 c.f.p.s. Will have a vegatative spillway.
