Herrera indicates he has drafted an answer to be submitted to the newspaper and will read the original letter on his Saturday morning radio show. He also encourages the men of the Latin American Legion Post to consider forming a LULAC Council in Rosenberg.

Apparently in her letter she referred to Latin Americans of her community as Communists. Herrera is answering on behalf of the Latin American citizenry of Fort Bend County.
