This home movie documents the daily lives and activities of the Peter Pauls Stewart family including an Easter meal and Easter egg hunt (00:00 - 08:54), children on a swing set and posing for the camera (08:54 - 09:57), fishing and boating at the Ferndale Club (09:47 - 12:29), Elizabeth's confirmation on April 26, 1953 (12:29-13:24; 32:50 - 35:04), a vacation in Mexico (17:52 - 19:13), rides and exhibits at the State Fair of Texas including a Texas & Pacific Train, Big Tex, and a Ferris Wheel (22:39 - 27:06), the family building a new house (27:06 - 27:35; 30:06 - 32:50), Bruce and Elizabeth swimming at the Brook Hollow Country Club (27:35 - 28:49), the first day of school (28:49 - 29:21), and children dressed in costume for Halloween (32:50 - 35:04). The film concludes with the Stewart family celebrating Christmas with meals and opening presents (35:04 - 45:31).
