Child's dress

Child's dress of white lightweight cotton organdy. Knee length; short puffed sleeves with ruffled lace edging. High round neck with ruffled lace edging. Skirt gathers at natural waist; belt of red velvet across front has large one inch buttons at either end that button onto white organdy belt pieces that tie in the back. Center back buttons down to waist with four buttons. Full skirt has four inch wide hem with built in organdy crinoline. Apron attached at waistline in front has ruffled lace trim and lace ribbon sewn across the middle; below this lace the bottom of apron has embroidered flowers (white daisies with yellow centers, red flowers with yellow centers, blue flowers, multiple shades of green leaves and stems). Matching embroidery on bodice from waist to yoke; yoke seam is covered by lace ribbon. Combined designer/retailer label at back neckline: "Made Expressly for / Neiman-Marcus / by Helen Lee"

Girl's dress

Little girl/toddler's dress of white lightweight organdy. Knee length; short puffed sleeves with pink cotton cuffs that have piping at edge. Pink peter pan collar with piping at the edge. Front bodice has 14 tiny vertical pin tucks with tiny blue and pink embroidered dot detail at center of pleat section from neck to waist. Front waistline has pink waistband, scalloped on top edge with 3 tiny white buttons at center front and to each side; piping at bottom of waistband. White organdy belt attaches at side seams, ties in back. Gathered full skirt has 5" band of pink cotton at bottom with piping detail. Buttons down the back from neck to waist with three buttons.
