This area is uncontrolled and is in excellent condition. It is in a low spot where it receives enough moisture to encourage growth. Photograph of after feed crops failed, these 1200 acres were seeded in 1942 to blue and sideoats grama and buffalo grass, with sprinkling of little bluestem. This is usef for fall and winter grazing at rate of 15 or 16 acres a head. Mixed upland site in good, approaching excellent condition. In picture is SCS Tech, Z.V. Gordon checks growth.
