The factors to be considered in this study are as follows: 1. The socio-economic status of the parents; 2. Each of the factors measured by the California Test of Personality; 3. The intelligence quotient; 4. Scholastic achievement; 5. The length of family residence in the community; 6. Physical attractiveness of the students as evaluated by three teachers; 7. Athletic ability as evaluated by the physical education teachers; 8. Conduct in the classroom as evaluated by the home room teacher.

After careful consideration of all the data available for this study, the writer made conclusions and recommendations with regard to the business education programs in the schools of Region Three.

The purpose of this study was to make an analysis of the program of health, physical education, and recreation for girls in the Gainesville High School, Gainesville, Texas. The aim was to develop a program that will function in the lives of the pupils. In order to provide a basis for the improvement of the existing program, an effort was made to evaluate the program for the purpose of improving the health of the pupils and the quality of the services rendered by the school in the areas of health, physical education, and recreation. Finally, the program was evaluated in the light of certain criteria that were set up as guiding principles.
