Two men stand to the right of the cars, while another man stands on the engine with his hand on his hip.

Postcard with a printed advertisement for Jay Lee Food Store in Grapevine, Texas; the ad shows prices for various items for the days "Fri. - Sat. - Aug. 11-12."

Postcard of the Pueblo Golf and Country Club in Pueblo, Colorado. A printed note below the picture says "Pueblo, a Thriving City With a Lasting Prosperity." A handwritten note on the back of the postcard, addressed to Mrs. Edward Bartley and Miss Lou Rayburn says, "I met Mr. and Mrs. Chapman at a big party given in their honor. They asked to be remembered to you. I have had so many lonely mt. trips - it is beautiful here and so cool. Lois Meade."

Postcard from Luciano Santoscoy of El Paso, Texas, to John J. Herrera, dated August 12, 1952. After sitting in on a school board meeting in Pecos, Texas, Luciano is encouraging LULAC to take a serious look at the local issues.

Postcard from Ralph, Helen, and Daris to Mrs. Minnie Owens, discussing their travels, including visiting a cave, seeing some friends in San Antonio, and their plans to stay in Kerrville until Sunday. The front of the postcard features a photograph of a large cavern with high-ceilings and a pit in the center of the ground. The cave is illuminated by lights placed among the rocks and rock formations. At the back of the cave, nestled in a crevice high up the rock wall, a cross shines brightly. The name of the cavern, "The Great Cathedral," is printed at the top of the postcard, along with the location.
