Harlan Otto Estes, 46, after the accident about 2:30 p. m. was taken to Mercy hospital suffering from a fractured skull and other injuries. Highway patrolmen Leo White after questioning two witnesses still was unable to explain why Estes` car went into a skid. But marks showed it skidded 75 feet to the left, across SH 3 about five miles east of Midwest City. Across the highway, the car slammed sideways into a bank and with the wheels off the ground slick along 180 feet before flipping over and throwing Estes 51 feet back onto the highway."
