Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "Shown here is a portion of the Oklahoma City Symphonic Orchetra which has broadcast 12 of a 13-concert series. The music originates in the First Christian church where four pews are removed to make room for the musicians. A part of the alter is used also. And the radio engineer sits in the choir loft, which does not show in this photo. Conductor Alessandro is at right center, forward. Exilled to a little world all his own, tympanist Robert Rigsbee beats his drums surrounded by sound-reducing pads at upper right. It took a lot of experimenting to find the exact amount of heavy pads which toned the drums down in proportion to the rest of the orchestra. This padded cell idea does it nicely. For the way Alessandro keeps in touch with the studio, see bottom of page."
