Paper bill worth three Soviet chervontsa used during the reign of the Soviet Union (now Russia). This bill has a portrait of Vladimir Lenin on the far right side of the front, and a large "3" printed on the far left side. The back of the bill has a purple printed border outlining Russian text and a large "3" in the center.

[Letter from Sam Myres to R. C. Crane, May, 2 1933

Letter from Sam Myres to Judge R. C. Crane apologizing for taking so long to write him back after his kind letter asking how Myers was doing. Myres explains that he has been avoiding doing work, and paying honest obligations and so that is why he has not responded. He tells Crane about a new book out that he has enjoyed and if Crane is interested, offers to mail it to him so he can also read it. Myres says that the next time he is in Sweet Water, he hopes to meet up with Crane to catch up.
