Included here are a series of letters from North Texas State Teacher's College (NTSTC) President, Dr. W.J. McConnell to the delegation of United States Senators from Texas, Honorable Morris Sheppard and Honorable Tom Connelly, requesting assistance in obtaining designation as a depository library for the NTSTC Library. The letters show that Senator Morris already used his designation for Southwestern University in Georgetown. This was confirmed by Superintendent of Documents, Alton Tisdale. The NTSTC Library was not designated a depository library at this time.
