A letter written to Mr. W. K. Wingfield, Temple, Texas, from T. N. Carswell, Secretary-Treasurer, Lions International, Abilene, Texas, dated March 29, 1924. Carswell announces Abilene's candidate Lion R. D. Green for Governor. Typewritten at the bottom of the page is a reply from W. K. Wingfield, President, disclosing their decision to run Colonel Perry for International President stating, "If you will swing the clubs in your section for Lion Perry, we will help you with Lion Green".
