Wingfield defends Col. Perry explaining that the Waco meeting at which Col. Perry was not present resulted in things done there that he and his committee did not agree to. He expresses his hope to see Carswell at the Abilene Club, the Paris Convention and then at Omaha in June.

Carswell announces Abilene's candidate Lion R. D. Green for Governor. Typewritten at the bottom of the page is a reply from W. K. Wingfield, President, disclosing their decision to run Colonel Perry for International President stating, "If you will swing the clubs in your section for Lion Perry, we will help you with Lion Green".
