[The Williams family in El Paso]

Their mother Irene is sitting next to Charles and she is looking down at him and smiling. The ground they are sitting on has no grass and is made completely of sand. Their house is visible behind them and it is made of a dark brick with a chimney and vines crawling up the wall. More houses are visible in the background of the image.

[Panhandle Boys monument]

Photograph of a monument in honor of the "Panhandle Boys" standing outside of The Amarillo Municipal Auditorium. The text on the base of the monument reads, "IN HONOR OF THE PANHANDLE BOYS OF THE WORLD WAR. ERECTED BY LLANO ESTACADO CHAPTER, DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. DEDICATED ARMISTICE DAY 1928." The statue has since been relocated to Ellwood Park in Amarillo, TX.
