Envelop for the Fox Company. The envelope advertises the prices for developing film and displays samples of the services offered by the Fox Company. These services include framed hand colored enlargement, the fox-tone border, and "new-tone" color scheme for photographs. The front has the name "Emil Jentsch" written on it.

Child's sailor dress of white jacquard cotton. Long sleeves with broderie anglaise lace at hem. Sailor collar with V-shaped yoke insert which wraps around left shoulder; standing neckline of lace matching sleeve hem and insert on sailor collar. Center front placket has left side opening with button closure (all buttons missing). Belt loops at sides (belt missing). Unlined.

Baby girl's white batiste cotton dress with lace and squared drawn work at the pin tucked neckline. Matching lace and drawn work at the cuff of the short puffed sleeves. Double row of squared drawn work around hem. Center back closure of three tiny mother-of-pearl buttons and loops. Cloth tape with blue script embroidered name: "Barbara Howell", for whom it was made.

Envelope clutch style purse of off-white pigskin. Trim on sides of front face of fold over flap of 18 brass hooks/staples. Slip pockets on exterior front and back face lined with off-white taffeta silk. Interior section has inverted frame and brass flip clip bar closure. Lined in of off-white taffeta with one slip pocket. No labels. Stamp on inside of fold over flap reads "Made in France" Measurements: Width: 8 1/2" Height: 5 3/4" Depth: 1"

Sequin dress

Dress of peach net covered in iridescent sequins. Wide, deep V-neckline with thick straps. Sleeveless. Scalloped hem, edges trimmed with rose colored glass beads. Sequins follow a sweeping, zigzag and scallop pattern all over the dress. Label at top of back neckline: "Hand Made in / Paris, France"

T-Strap Shoes

One pair of woman's high-heeled shoes with split t-strap, forming an inverted "V" from vamp to strap. The shoes are covered in a metallic copper/bronze silk textured weave and edged in gold metallic finished leather. The Boulevard set-under heels are lacquered with a metallic gold finish and set with rhinestones. One shoe with label inside: "Wise Shoe / For Every Occasion" Both shoes with hand-marked notations: "6 1/2 aa / D30014 / 11-564" Some rhinestones on the heels have been replaced at some point in the past with other rhinestones that do not quite match the original stones. Rhinestones missing on heel of left shoe & button on instep closure missing. Measurements: Shoe is 17.1 cm. wide x 25 cm. long x 13 cm. high. Heel is 6.5 cm. (2 1/2") high on axis, including cap. Size 6 1/2 AA. Left Shoe: no markings

Picture Hat

Picture hat of finely woven black straw. The low, domed crown is encircled at its base by a narrow ribbon of black velvet onto which are sewn along front and sides 10 oval, black plastic (?) buttons. The ribbon is tied at back of crown, with bow and trailing ends. The wide brim extends out and slopes/curves down slightly. The hat is unlined, with inner black headband and a cord to help secure to wearer's head.

Straw cloche

Cloche of rose straw. The high, rounded crown is of finely braided rose/pink colored straw. At one side is an appliqué in green, beige, peach, and brown of a stylized floral design in silk taffeta with colored straw detailing and outlines. Around the base of the crown is a segment of rose satin quilted with lines of copper and tan straw, turned up at front to form a brim and turned downwards at back. Lined in an iridescent red satin. No labels. Measurements: 17 cm. front to back; 24 cm. side to side; 19 cm. from top of crown to lowest point.

Felt cloche

Cloche hat of brown felt. The high, domed crown is of brown/mauve felt, pulled and gathered to create texture at top back. The brim of the same felt is narrow, curving down at sides and up at back. Around the base of the crown is a wide band of brown grosgrain ribbon, which passes through slots in the upturned back section of the brim. At the side of the hat, the ribbon is gathered slightly, and has three segments that extend forward around the crown, fanning upwards to partly cover the front of the hat. The hat is lined in a slightly iridescent bronze fabric. In crown of hat is ornate embroidered label consisting of an oval surmounted by a device with triple ostrich plumes; small coats of arms at the ends of the oval, and the text " Imported / Amhat / Chiffon Felt", with inscription below: "Reg. U.S. Patent Office". Attached inside base of crown is original paper tag: "Berlin / Amhat / New York" and "Triste / Imported / Chiffon Felt". Measurements: 25cm front to back; 24 cm side to side; 19 cm from top of crown to lowest point of brim.

["Measuregraph" dry goods measurer]

"Measuregraph" dry goods measurer. Grey metal body with traces of black paint still evident. Round white dial on top indicated yardage passed through rollers. Rectangular window of unknown function. Measurer mounted to counter with a slide-on bracket running perpendicular to body of machine. Spring-action blade nicks edge of fabric so it can be torn at correct yardage.
