Two houses sit on either side of the Kronkosky residence - the one on the left is about the same size, while the one on the right is much smaller. The houses sit on a hill with a steep decline, leading to a road that winds around the hill.

Postcard to Mrs. Emil Philippus, discussing arrangements for Mrs. Philippus to meet her mother-in-law at the depot on May 8, 1921. The front of the postcard features a photograph of the Holy Angels Academy in Boerne, Texas, a two-story, light-colored wood building with wrap-around porches on both stories. There is a small tower extending from the center of the roof of the building, and a short flagpole at the front of the roof. There is a large group of students and nuns standing on the first-floor porch and sitting on a few short steps leading up to the porch. There are two large, bare trees on either side of the front steps.

Fire Protection, Hallettsville, Texas

According to accompanying information, the first truck on the far left is a 1920 chemical fire truck and the persons posing on it (left to right) are Julius G. Jalufka, Freddie Buss, Henry Pohl, and Collie McCord. The middle truck is a 1918 fire truck and the persons posing on it (left to right) are Paul H. Fertsch, Joseph F. Fritsch, Otto Hanak, Emil Burkett, and (standing) N. A. Moreland. The third truck, on the far right, is a 1920 pumper fire truck and the persons posing on it (left to right) are John Burkett, Jr., Buck Sokol, and Rudolph Sokol. Postcard of a two-story structure in Danevang, Texas, belonging to H. P. Jensen. A picket fence surrounds the house. Both H. P. Jensen and Mrs. H. P. Jensen stand in the front porch of their home, which is covered by a sloping roof projection creating an overhang. Additionally, there are intersecting hip roofs and a single chimney at the very top. There is a sign that hangs on the right side of the first floor that reads, "Danevang Post Office." A white sticker on the front of the photograph reads, "H. P. Hermansen was Postmaster for 35 years. He was also a weather man. He kept a record of the rainfall."
