Riley asks Pound for any information he may have about the situation and wishes him well and hopes he and his daughters had a nice time visiting.

Postcard from Raymond Harper to Birdie Walters with a tinted image of the state capitol building in Albany, New York. There is a note written on the reverse side of the card that discusses Harper's adventures while at the beach the past eight weeks; Harper also mentions his collection of newspapers he gathered from the ports he visited.

Letter from Dr. J. W. Harrison to Dr. Joseph Pound asking him to please find the grave of Mrs. Harrison's father located somewhere on Wallace Mountain in Dripping Springs, Texas. He goes on to talk about his medical practice and asks if Dr. Pound is still practicing, and discusses old times and their ever growing age.

Letter from Mrs. Moore Murdock to Dr. Joseph Pound detailing the transportation plans from Santa Fe to Fort Worth and stating departure and arrival dates.

Letter from Margaret Kelly to Dr. Joseph Pound discussing her possible inability to come up to visit him and go to the upcoming reunion on account of her sister having gotten sick the other day.

Postcard from Raymond Harper to Birdie Walters with a tinted image of the Hotel Heublein in Hartford, Connecticut which appears red in the picture. The note on the reverse side of the card tells about Harper's receiving of two cards from Walters and that the weather is slowly beginning to warm up in Connecticut.

Wedding invitations sent from Mr. and Mrs. Edward Reeves Kone, one for the reception of "their daughter Eula Lee and Mrs. Wallace Bruce Colbert on the afternoon of Wednesday the eleventh of November." The other invitation is for the actual wedding itself of their daughter Edna and Verner Moore Lewis at the Methodist Episcopal Church in San Marcos, Texas on November 16, 1904.

Letter from Albert Sydney Burleson to Dr. Joseph Pound saying that he has enclosed a letter from the Bureau of Pensions "showing that your claim for increase pension to $16.00 per month has been allowed." The enclosed document, signed by V. Warner, does say that the "pension has been allowed at $16.00 per month from June 6, 1906."

Letter from Ida Moses to her uncle, Dr. Joseph Pound, discussing friends and family members who have come down with sickness; her mother and uncle have both become stricken to their beds and her sister Jessie's family have "had a serious time with Typhoid fever."

Postcard from Dewitt Hunt to Birdie Walters with an illustration on the back of two fairies unraveling a scroll with "Board-Bill" written at the bottom; the quote on the left side reads: "Love is the insane desire on the part of a chump to pay a woman's board-bill for life, so beware."

Two letters from B. J. Warz to Dr. Joseph Pound stating that he will get an increase in pension, and that he is to "execute the voucher...and return it to the pension agent at Knoxville." The second letter concerns the protection against fraudulent impostors of officers in the Bureau of Pensions: "The OBJECT OF THIS CIRCULAR is to protect all persons...against the swindling schemes of unprincipled IMPOSTORS."

Letter from A. F. Hicks to Dr. Joseph Pound in regards to the doctor's 80th birthday and the fact that he will not be able to attend on account of his wife being "so unwell and delicate."

Postcard from a man named Lawrence to Birdie Walters with a photograph of some of the student tents at "A. & M. College, Texas." These tents are line up next to a long row of trees and in front of two large buildings seen in the background. The note on the reverse side of the card discusses Lawrence's possible trip to San Marcos on the train in the coming days and that he would love to see her at the depot.

Delegate's certificate presented to Dr. Joseph Pound for his good standing in camp number 946 U. C. V. Pound had been appointed as one of the delegates of this camp on May 8, 1905 to the "Fifteenth Annual Reunion and Convention of United Confederate Veterans, to be held at Louisville, Ky."

Letter written by Marguerite Cavett Hammack as a child; at the beginning she asks for the receiver of the letter that she wishes they were there. Most of the language in the letter is not very legible.

Postcard from Roger Fulton to Barbie Walters with a note on that reads in part: "may you be loved by all but most by me." The illustration on the front of the card is of a bouquet of flowers with a border created by vines.

Letter from D. L. Yoas to Dr. Joseph Pound discussing recent events such as the fact that Pound's son had stayed a few nights with them and that he would like to come and get the peach trees the doctor had offered him. At the end of the letter he wishes the doctor and his family a "Merry Christmas and happy New Year."

Postcard from Raymond Harper to Birdie Walters with an image on the front showing West Beach in Westbrook, Connecticut; there is a line of houses positioned along the water front. The note on the reverse side of the card discusses Harper's being in Westbrook during the month of August and that there is "good fishing, boating and crabing" there.

Letter from Ida Moses to her uncle, Dr. Joseph Pound, discussing her upcoming visit to his place; her husband's business will keep them from visiting until the middle of November but hope to "stay a few weeks." Ida also says that her mother is especially looking forward to the visit as she has not seen her grandchildren for a year.

Letter from Ida Moses to her uncle, Dr. Joseph Pound, letting him know that she hopes he will be able to come and visit in the near future; she also hopes that cousins "Dr. and Fannie Hamilton will meet you here next month."

Letter from Marguerite Cavett Hammack to "Bud," Dr. Pound's son, asking him to come visit her; she says that she is in the second reader and that they recently just got a new cow with a pretty calf.

Resolution introduced in the U. S. House of Representatives granting an increase of pension to Joseph M. Pound for his service during the Mexican American War at $20 extra a month.

Postcard from Dewitt Hunt to Birdie Walters with a poem printed on the front that says "the girl with dreamy eyes" is the one; next to this is an illustration of a woman in a large hand and scarf around her neck.

Letter from Ida Moses to her uncle, Dr. Joseph Pound, mostly describing her mother's accident in which she fell at her house and messed up her leg causing her to be confined to her bed for at least six weeks. She goes on to say that she wants him to come and visit the next time he comes up; she also asks about the rest of the family and how they are doing.
