Postcard addressed to Mayme Collins in Central City, Nebraska from Leda Bahl with a Christmas illustration printed on the front. The picture on the front is of a bell decorated with Christmas decorations all around it, and "A Merry Christmas" printed below it. There is a note on the reverse side of the card from Leda that reads: "Guessing you are glad that the time is almost here for you to come home you said you were anxious to see Harry's house. You ought to see Harry's dog. I told you Harry he thought more of the dog than he does of his sisters. Mayme wish you all a merry Xmas."

There is a note on the back of the card also that reads: "With Best Wishes from all. Let us hear from you, yours Emma."

Leigh his heirs or assigns FOREVER Six Hundred and Forty Acres of LAND." The land being granted to Leigh is located in Kerr County and is known as section number 2 on the waters of Cypress Creek.

Letter written to Mr. Spivey of Marlin, Texas from Wes Logan of Waco, Texas, informing Mr. Spivey of his new employment at DeLong & Riddle, dealers in all kinds of fresh meats, fish and oysters in season.

These tents are line up next to a long row of trees and in front of two large buildings seen in the background. The note on the reverse side of the card discusses Lawrence's possible trip to San Marcos on the train in the coming days and that he would love to see her at the depot.

Letter from D. L. Yoas to Dr. Joseph Pound discussing recent events such as the fact that Pound's son had stayed a few nights with them and that he would like to come and get the peach trees the doctor had offered him. At the end of the letter he wishes the doctor and his family a "Merry Christmas and happy New Year."

Letter to Dr. Joseph Pound from Mittie Pound Sorrell concerning to freezing weather up in Oklahoma; they look forward to moving once they are able to get out. She is sorry that they will not be able to make it down for Christmas but do look forward to the next time they make it down.

There is a Poem in German printed in the top left corner of the postcard. The back of the postcard has a handwritten message from the sender, saying, "My dear Sir! My best compliments for new year 1910!"

The photo on the reverse side shows the ruins of the Burdick House after a fire burned it down on December 9, 1909 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The building is almost completely destroyed, most of the area is covered in smoke while three firemen are standing in a ground talking together.

This is the fire that burnt down the Burdick House on December 9, 1909; this picture shows the fire at three A. M. Almost all of the front wall of the building has been destroyed, most of the other walls have been totally wiped out.
