Photograph of 128 people arranged in about seven rows, with the young boys sitting on a wooden floor on the first row, the young girls behind them on the second row, a mixture of adult men and women on the third row, mostly young women on the fourth and fifth rows, and young men on the final rows. The group is arranged inside a high-ceiling hall with an archway visible behind them. There are two photos of men with facial hair hung on the two columns on either side of the group - the man on the left having a mustache and the man on the right having a thick, long beard. The photograph is set in a thick black mat. Handwritten notes on the back of the photograph identify the people shows as part of the Howard Payne Academy, and even identify a few students and a teacher by name
