Nimitz comments also on enjoying the work he doing in the carpenter, blacksmith and boiler shops. He also mentions he will be going to Philadelphia in a week for the annual Army-Navy game. He also mentions communicating with Victor Keidel of Fredericksburg, who was in Philadelphia studying medicine.
