A Delegate's Credential Card (No. 2116) issued to Mr. Thomas Norwood Carswell of Simmons College (Abilene, Texas) for the Seventh International Convention, Student Volunteer Movement at Kansas City, Missouri dated December 31, 1913 to January 4, 1914. This card was originally part of a scrapbook assembled by Thomas Norwood Carswell, largely containing items related to his time at Simmons College.

Eagan to George Pendexter discussing the recent slow business around St. Louis; Eagan notes that the photograph shows "one of our brave police stationed at a salon after a fire at Paulian building." The windows of the building are blown out and all of the bottles are covered in ice; the policeman is wearing a large overcoat to keep warm.

Postcard of the Joplin Fire Department in four automobile fire engines outside of their station's garage. The vehicles are equipped (separately) with ladders, hoses, and water tanks. A note at the side of the postcard says, "Built and installed by the Webb Motor Fire Apparatus Company. Vincennes, Indiana. U. S. A"
