Patent for improvement in cotton-elevators by providing means for the air-conduit and the cotton-conduit to communicate with the body of the elevator; and means for the air-conduit to communicate directly to the cotton conduit in order to effectively and uniformly distribute the cotton when fed to the gins. Patent for a railway signaling mechanism. This invention "relates to certain new and useful improvements in electric railway and block signaling in which means are provided for indicating in the engine cab to the engineer the condition of the road ahead" (lines 9-13). Illustrations included.
