[Three Bank Notes for J. E. M. Yates]

Three bank notes prepared for J. E. M. Yates. The first acknowledges that J. M. Davis will pay him $15 with an interest rate of 10% per annum as of January 1, 1906. The second note is dated October 1, 1906 and says that P. C. Davis "one year after date, I, we, or either of us, promise to pay...twenty seven and 45/100 Dollars." The third note is dated January 16, 1902 and stipulates that P. C. Davis "On Oct 1st 1902 after date I, we, or, either of us, promise to pay to the order of J. E. M. Yates" $18 with ten percent interest.

Wedding invitations sent from Mr. and Mrs. Edward Reeves Kone, one for the reception of "their daughter Eula Lee and Mrs. Wallace Bruce Colbert on the afternoon of Wednesday the eleventh of November." The other invitation is for the actual wedding itself of their daughter Edna and Verner Moore Lewis at the Methodist Episcopal Church in San Marcos, Texas on November 16, 1904.

Land deed certificate presented to Edward B. Leigh by the governor of Texas, Joseph D. Sayers. The certificate states: "Edward B. Leigh apee of James Sellers and George L. Leigh his heirs or assigns FOREVER Six Hundred and Forty Acres of LAND." The land being granted to Leigh is located in Kerr County and is known as section number 2 on the waters of Cypress Creek.
