Report from a committee reporting on progress with obtaining unrestricted ownership of the Fisher-Miller Grant from the state of Texas. The report repeatedly mentions the Adelsverein's debts in Texas.

Letter from Thomas Falconer to "My dear Austin" in London. The letter was written in the third month of Falconer's captivity and posted from San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The letter recounts how he became part of the Santa Fe Expedition in June 1841 and narrates his experiences during the expedition. Falconer states that he was falsely told that the expedition was for trade when in fact its purpose was to capture Santa Fe. The letter describes his companions; the decline of Santa Fe's importance for trade; problems with the route and guides; lack of food; a camp fire that becomes a prairie fire; buffalo; and Indian attacks, scalpings, and deaths. Contract dictating the withdrawal of $200 for Wilhelmine Meyer from the German Emigration and Rail-Road Company.

Promotional pamphlet discussing promises of Texas as a new land to settle Germans in and the logistical requirements for a prospective emigrant to move there with the Adelsverein. The pamphlet also details exactly what support the society will give immigrants in travel and supplies.

Contract for an advance from the Adelsverein to Friedrich Schafer, dated October 2, 1845. I states that the Adelsverein paid Schafer 81 Gulden, and outlines Schafer's responsibilities to the Adelsverein in return.
