Bonnet of blue silk. Brim is hand-quilted in square corners and curving lines that follow the shape of the brim in even lines. The brim is composed of 3 pieces of silk fabric, which are pieced together and then quilted. Cotton used as batting material throughout. The crown is entirely quilted in rows of horizontal stitching and radiating circles. The tail has L-shaped quilting, which echoes the front edge of the tail. The chin ties are striped silk ribbons. Some areas of fabric loss and shattering on bonnet and ties.

Walking dress of green silk taffeta with warp printed black dot pattern. A) Bodice. Standing collar trimmed in green silk braid. Long sleeves of curved construction with epaulette trim of matching fabric bordered in fringed braid matching the collar and separate bow of matching braid; peaked appliqué of matching green braid and two covered buttons at cuffs. Center front closure of hidden hooks with faux button closure of green silk covered buttons matching sleeve cuffs. Boning at right side opening. Lined in brown mercerized cotton. B) Dress/skirt. Top of dress is brown mercerized cotton with short sleeves and closure of hook and eyelets. Skirt of green taffeta matching bodice. Lined in brown polished cotton.
