The last of the U.S. Army Soldier Shows "Blueprint Specials" to be published, "OK, USA" is a musical revue on the theme of U.S. soldiers returning to the United States and finding it finding it as foreign and exotic as any country overseas because they have been away and living under extreme circumstances for so long. Like the other "Blueprint Specials," this show includes a complete script (multiple copies this time); a conductor's score and complete set of instrumental parts; a sample program; set and costume designs; and detailed instructions for producing the show using whatever materials are at hand. Unlike the other "Blueprint Specials," it includes no information on the librettists, songwriters, and other staff who worked on the show.

Lagow discusses his family history, attending Texas A&M, joining the CCC, the lead up to war, activation and training with the 352nd Engineer Battalion, deployment to Khorramshahr, Iran, building roads, delivering supplies to the Soviets, crash landing in a B-17 in Palestine, returning to the States and transfer to the 1346th Eng. Bat., deployment to Okinawa, occupation duty and Japanese holdouts, thoughts on Hideki Tojo, attitudes towards the Japanese, shell shock and mental breakdowns, the atomic bomb, and life after the war.

Interview with Major General Frederick Haynes, a Marine WWII veteran from Dallas, Texas. Haynes discusses growing up, becoming an officer in the Marine Corps, being a small arms instructor, assignment to the 28th Marines and training for combat, various experiences fighting the Battle of Iwo Jima, and reflections on battle.

Interview with Father Raymond Abbitt discussing his experiences as a civilian internee of the Japanese during World War II. He was captured on the Island of Mindanao in the Philippines and held in various Japanese camps in the Philippines.

Interview with Colonel M.L. Daman, an Army veteran and a survivor of the siege of Corregidor, concerning his experiences as a prisoner-of-war of the Japanese during World War II. Daman discusses the fall of Corregidor and his capture, Bilibid Prison in Manila (1942-1943), Davao Penal Colony (1943-1944), Bilibid Prison again (1945), the fall of Manila, and his liberation. Letter from Clara Willis to John C. Lattimore on January 6, 1943, lamenting the entrance of Lattimore and Clara Willis's son Todd into the army, and their subsequent departure from Waco. She goes on to mention the weather in Grand Rapids, where Lattimore is stationed, and discusses the weather in Waco. She mentions that her son is on leave in Richmond, Virginia, and expresses her pride in Lattimore's entrance into the army.

Letter from John Todd Willis, Jr. to his parents Clara and John T. Willis, Sr., on January 14, 1943. He mentions a friend who has gone AWOL, and who will lose his citizenship if he doesn't turn up in 2 days. He also details the war bonds he's taken out and how much money he's going to send home to put in the bank.
