The last of the U.S. Army Soldier Shows "Blueprint Specials" to be published, "OK, USA" is a musical revue on the theme of U.S. soldiers returning to the United States and finding it finding it as foreign and exotic as any country overseas because they have been away and living under extreme circumstances for so long. Like the other "Blueprint Specials," this show includes a complete script (multiple copies this time); a conductor's score and complete set of instrumental parts; a sample program; set and costume designs; and detailed instructions for producing the show using whatever materials are at hand. Unlike the other "Blueprint Specials," it includes no information on the librettists, songwriters, and other staff who worked on the show.

Interview with Alfred Czerner, a Army WWII veteran and German-Jewish expatriate from Frankfurt-am-Main. Czerner discusses growing up in the crises of the Weimar Republic, politics at the time, his parents' background, the Jewish community in Frankfurt and Jewish identity, his father's unemployment after the rise of the Nazis, fleeing Germany and moving to Brooklyn in 1938, news of concentration camps, work in New York, attending school and perfecting his English, becoming an Army intelligence officer, service at Camp Ritchie with Henry Kissinger and meeting Eleanor Roosevelt, transfer to Europe and service with the 78th Infantry Division, witnessing Buchwenwald, service in Berlin postwar and operations carried out there, meeting and marrying his wife, and reflections on the Holocaust.

Interview with Albert Bouley, a U. S. Marine during World War II. He discusses his enlistment in the Marines just after Pearl Harbor; his assignment to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Division; the battle of Guadalcanal; malaria and dysentery; the battle of Cape Gloucester; the use of Pavuvu as a base; the battle of Peleliu; his return to the United States; guard duty at the Brooklyn Naval Yard and his service as an instructor in a heavy weapons school before the end of the war. He joined the Air Force 2 1/2 years later to be able to fly and work on planes, then retire to become a teacher in California, and finally settled in Texas.
